The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it will hold a webinar on June 23rd at 1 pm ET regarding the upcoming PAID Act implementation. The announcement, which can be found here, explains that the webinar “will cover what the PAID Act is, details of the NGHP Section 111 Query Response File changes, information on the scheduled testing period, and implementation timeframes.”
The PAID Act was signed into law in December 2020 and has as a one year implementation deadline. While we anticipate a number of changes to the Query Response File, ECS will be able to swiftly implement and incorporate those changes in our MIR Service Section 111 reporting and conditional payment services. We are looking forward to hearing what CMS has to say on this one!
